Six days of Morocco’s ultimate contrasts: alpine passes, rocky plateaus, desert plains and the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. This itinerary combines three full buggy-driving days with cultural encounters, comfort stays and a guided city finale in Casablanca. Designed for adventurous drivers who want to experience both Atlas landscapes and Sahara horizons.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Morocco → Ifrane
Meet & greet at Casablanca Airport. Transfer (~260 km, ~4 hrs) to Ifrane, often called the Moroccan Switzerland. Check-in at Michlifen Resort & Golf, safety briefing and equipment hand-out. Dinner and free evening.
Notes: acclimatisation day at 1650 m. Cedar forests and alpine meadows.
Day 2 – Ifrane → Midelt (~180 km)
Buggy adventure begins: ride through cedar woods, alpine fields and mountain valleys of the Middle Atlas. Picnic lunch. Arrival at Taddart Hotel, Midelt. Dinner and overnight.
Terrain: gravel tracks, high plateaus, mountain passes. Moderate difficulty.
Day 3 – Midelt → Errachidia (~180 km)
Continue through wild mountain ranges and rocky plains. Picnic lunch on the way. Arrival at Kenzi Rissani Hotel, Errachidia. Dinner and overnight.
Terrain: mountain valleys, rocky plains, dry riverbeds. Demanding, requires focus.
Day 4 – Errachidia → Merzouga (~200 km)
Ride south to the Erg Chebbi dunes via rocky hamada and desert plateaus. Picnic lunch. Arrival at Hotel Xaluca, Merzouga. Dinner and overnight.
Terrain: sand tracks, high dunes, rocky stretches. Spectacular and technically challenging.
Day 5 – Merzouga → Errachidia → Casablanca
Morning transfer (~2 hrs) to Errachidia Airport. Domestic flight Errachidia → Casablanca. Check-in at Marly Boutique Hotel. Dinner at own expense. Free evening.
Day 6 – Casablanca → Departure
Breakfast. Guided city tour of Casablanca: United Nations Square, Habous Quarter, Hassan II Mosque, Corniche seafront. Transfer to airport for international flights.
