Nine days of Morocco’s ultimate contrasts: from the Atlantic coast of Casablanca to the limestone valleys of Demnate, across the High Atlas to Ouarzazate, into the endless dunes of Erg Chigaga, through palm-lined oases of the Draa Valley, granite peaks of Tafraoute and the walled charm of Taroudant — before finishing in Marrakech and Casablanca. A journey that blends culture, scenery and off-road adventure in equal measure.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Casablanca
Pick up your Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024s, enjoy a guided city tour including the Hassan II Mosque, La Corniche and central squares. Fresh seafood lunch, check-in at hotel. Dinner included.
Day 2 – Casablanca → Demnate (~200–250 km)
Scenic inland drive from the coast to the foothills of the High Atlas. Visit Imi n’Ifri Natural Bridge. Arrival and dinner in Demnate.
Day 3 – Demnate → Aït Bouguemez → Ouarzazate (~250–300 km)
Cross the “Happy Valley” of Aït Bouguemez (terraced fields, Berber clay villages), then mountain passes with snow-capped views. Arrival in Ouarzazate, visit film studios and Kasbah Taourirt.
Day 4 – Ouarzazate → Erg Chigaga (~250–300 km)
Drive southeast through stony plateaus, dry riverbeds and oases. Off-road into the golden dunes of Erg Chigaga. Sunset, campfire and overnight in a luxury desert camp under the stars.
Day 5 – Erg Chigaga → Draa Valley → Borj Biramane (~300–350 km)
Ride west through the legendary Draa Valley, with its palm groves, kasbahs and caravan routes. Overnight at Borj Biramane eco-lodge.
Day 6 – Borj Biramane → Tafraoute (~200–250 km)
Climb into the Anti-Atlas granite landscapes. Explore the famous Painted Rocks and surreal boulder-strewn hillsides. Overnight at Hôtel les Amandiers.
Day 7 – Tafraoute → Taroudant (~170–220 km)
Descend into the fertile Souss Valley: olive and orange groves, argan trees. Explore Taroudant’s medina and walls, overnight in a riad.
Day 8 – Taroudant → Tizi n’Test Pass → Marrakech (~200–250 km)
Scenic drive over the Tizi n’Test Pass (2100+ m), with sweeping High Atlas views. Arrival in Marrakech, guided walk, hotel stay.
Day 9 – Marrakech → Casablanca (Departure)
Morning tour of Marrakech: Jemaa el-Fnaa, Bahia Palace, Majorelle Garden. Afternoon transfer to Casablanca Airport.
